Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have been with us for a couple of decades now and are growing in sophistication with each release. However, like many other products, increased sophistication is developed by the system vendor in the attempt to outdo its competition. Whether this is totally appreciated by the customer is questionable. We believe most ERP systems are using only a fraction of the features available.
 The irony is, that in spite of the drive for increased functionality, ERP system modules will never match third party specialised software. This is why ERP vendors are now concentrating on providing easy links to Microsoft products, business intelligence tools, printing packages, report writers and the Internet.
A change in ERP system can cost a company a small fortune and. if implemented badly, can threaten its very solvency. Such a decision to change should be taken warily. This is why our software solutions are designed to link into existing ERP systems - not replace them.
The form the interface takes will depend upon the host ERP system. Standard interfaces have been developed for SAP R3. For smaller systems, we can take CSV files to a specific layout, or even data down loaded to Excel.
