Galvano is, as they say themselves, "at home in bathrooms". A wholesale trade company, with an extensive range of 60,000 items of sanitary ware, central heating and installation materials, 15,000 of them are kept on stock. They offer a very vibrant range of products, with excellent logistic support. Slim4 has been installed more than 10 years for forecasting and inventory management.
Frank Bongers, inventory control manager, believes Slim4 can help even more decisively. He is very positive about the way Slim4 has made its contribution: Galvano “The main benefit is that the service to the customers has improved dramatically. We have been chosen by the Baderie retail chain as supplier of the year. We always come out top regarding customer service.”
Galvano saw its real turnover grow by 50% in those ten years, but Slim4 helped maintain its stock at the same level. Bongers: “Also our productivity has increased; there is less stress in the business; our attention is much more focussed on the important issues.”
